Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham wasn’t happy about having to follow her teammate DeWanna Bonner’s stylish entrance before their game against the Atlanta Dream.
Bonner arrived at the arena Tuesday night wearing a striking black outfit. She confidently posed for the cameras as she walked in. Cunningham came in right after her, dressed much more casually. When the cameras caught her, she joked, “How am I supposed to follow that today?” and gave a playful mock pose.
It was clear the team had not planned a dress code for the night.
The Fever, currently with a 4-4 record, faced the 5-3 Dream in Commissioner’s Cup play on Tuesday. Indiana has been managing without their injured star, Caitlin Clark, but the team is eager to have her back. The Fever had won two games in a row before this matchup, after losing three of four previously.
