On the 18th, the TV Chosun program Foodie Heo Young-man’s Dining Journey aired an episode featuring Heo Young-man alongside Mr. Trot 3 winners Kim Yong-bin and Son Bin-a. The three visited their hometowns of Daegu and Hadong.
During the visit, Son Bin-a, from Hadong, and Kim Yong-bin, from Daegu, proudly talked about their respective hometowns. When Heo Young-man learned that the final episode of Mr. Trot 3 had achieved a 19.1% viewership rating, he jokingly said, “I wish we could take a little bit of that rating,” which made everyone laugh.
The trio then traveled to Jirisan Jara Village to try various wild vegetable pancakes. Kim Yong-bin exclaimed in delight, “Is this leather plant? I’ve never tasted it before, and it’s so delicious.”
The village residents gather once a week to share a meal. Upon hearing this, Kim Yong-bin expressed surprise, saying, “This scene is so new to me.”
