During a recent concert, Katy Perry paused her performance to jokingly address a fan about messaging her longtime partner, Orlando Bloom.
While performing, Perry, 40, approached the fan and crouched down. She said with a smile, “Oh, yeah, cute grin. I know why you’re here.”
She then teased, “Listen. If you keep DMing my man,” according to fan videos shared on TikTok. “Oh, Kyle. I know. I know. You’ve been doing it for months. Ever since the residency. You didn’t come to see me play. If you keep on DMing my man, I’m going to have you removed. Seriously, get your own life. I’m his wife.”
Turning to the crowd, Perry said, “I’m his,” while the audience responded, “He’s mine.” This exchange happened during her performance of “I’m His, He’s Mine,” a song from her 2024 album 143. She added, “Stay the F [away]. He don’t want you, Kyle,” before resuming the show.
Perry started The Lifetimes Tour in April. She has been linked to Bloom, 48, since 2016. The couple dated for a year before briefly breaking up. After nearly a year apart, they reunited in 2018. Bloom proposed a year later.
The couple planned to marry in 2019 but postponed the wedding due to issues with the venue. Then, in 2020, their plans were delayed again because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In March 2020, Perry announced she was pregnant with their first child. The couple welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, in August 2020. Perry recently celebrated the last show of her Las Vegas residency with Daisy in the audience. She gave a heartfelt shout-out to her daughter, who was dressed as Minnie Mouse. “Daisy! I love you so much,” Perry said. “You’re my best friend. I’m so glad you’re here.”
In a September 2024 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Perry revealed that she and Bloom attend couples therapy. “The more we do the work, the more we find the next level,” she explained. “Sometimes we get stuck and feel like, ‘OK, this is annoying, I don’t want to do it. We’re tired, we don’t have the time.’ But we do it anyway. Then we reach the next level. That’s why we’re still together.”
