Kerry Katona made fans laugh with a Father’s Day joke, while her eldest daughter Heidi praised her for managing both parental roles.
The 44-year-old single mother of five shared a humorous post on Instagram today. Kerry, formerly of Atomic Kitten, posted a photo showing a car park full of vehicles and captioned it, “Outside my house on Father’s Day.”
Fans reacted with amusement. Some responded with laughing emojis, while others added Montell Jordan’s song “This Is How We Do It” to the post.
Kerry’s 18-year-old daughter Heidi also showed her admiration for her mother. In a social media post, Heidi appeared to take a subtle jab at her father, Mark Croft, by writing, “The woman who did both jobs @kerrykatona7 Happy Father’s Day.”
Heidi also shared a video clip of Kerry answering a question about the best advice she could give her children. Kerry said: “Other people’s opinions do not matter. And it shall pass. Nothing lasts forever. If you make a mistake, ask yourself, ‘Is this going to matter in five years, baby girl?’ Think like that.”
Kerry has five children from different relationships. Her eldest daughters, Molly (23) and Lilly Sue (22), are from her first marriage to Brian McFadden of Westlife. Heidi (18) and Max (17) are from her relationship with second husband Mark Croft. She also has an 11-year-old daughter, Dylan-Jorge, known as DJ, with her late third husband, George Kay.
Recently, it was revealed that Kerry has moved on from her ex Ryan Mahony. She is now in a relationship with Paolo Magaglione, whom she met while filming Celebs Go Dating. The couple made their first public appearance together, holding hands and sharing a kiss, according to photos obtained by The Sun.
Paolo is reportedly 33 years old, making him 11 years younger than Kerry. A source told The Sun, “Kerry has bagged herself another toyboy. Paolo is 33 and Kerry is 44, but neither of them mind the age gap. Kerry looks better than many women half her age and is young at heart. Paolo thinks she’s super sexy and has told all his friends he’s the lucky one. Meanwhile, Kerry loves having a younger man again.”
According to his Instagram profile, Paolo is a father of two girls and works as an online fitness coach.
