CANNES – Sportscaster Erin Andrews turned an unexpected fashion mishap into comedy gold during a live taping of the Calm Down Podcast at SPORT BEACH 2025. Appearing on stage with co-host and fellow FOX NFL personality Charissa Thompson, Andrews caught the audience off guard with an unfiltered joke about a wardrobe issue and a spray tan gone wrong.
As the two were setting up the show, Andrews asked a crew member, “Hey, do you have a towel back there?” Her follow-up comment drew surprised laughter: “I’m gonna shove it up my dress.” Thompson immediately reacted with a wide-eyed, “Woahhh,” as the crowd burst into laughter. Andrews quickly added, “Just kidding,” but the moment had already landed—highlighting the candid and humorous tone that defines their popular podcast.
Despite dealing with the heat and humidity in Cannes, Andrews stayed upbeat. She joked about how the warm weather was affecting her spray tan, saying, “It’s starting in the tummy. Don’t worry. It’ll come out orange from the spray tan… awkward spray tan in the UK.”
The mishap continued to entertain as Andrews and Thompson confessed that they had missed important emails from the event organizers. “We literally cannot complain about one thing,” Andrews admitted, playfully imagining the planners’ response: “I sent you emails. I sent you information, and you never got back to me.” Thompson added with a laugh, “We need to have a code word. So every time we don’t like something, we just say it to each other.”
Later in the podcast, Andrews turned her attention to a fashion trend she finds frustrating—Gen Z’s love for bathroom selfies. In a separate clip, she criticized the practice, saying, “The selfies in the bathroom of your super cute outfit are for the birds. I’m not going to call you thirsty, but it’s so desperado to take a picture of your outfit there.”
Her main concern was hygiene. “Do you know how much bacteria and odors are in that place?” she said. “Get out of the public bathroom… find another.” Thompson agreed, sharing her co-host’s view on the growing trend.
From wardrobe blunders to spray tan disasters and fashion opinions, Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson once again proved their podcast is a place for laughs, honesty, and relatable commentary.
