Scarlett Johansson is set to host the season finale of Saturday Night Live (SNL), while Bad Bunny has exciting plans for the summer. On Thursday, NBC released humorous teasers promoting the SNL 50th season finale, featuring Johansson, Bad Bunny, and cast member Kenan Thompson.
In the first teaser, Johansson introduces herself, saying, “Hi, I’m Scarlett Johansson, and I’ll be hosting the season finale of SNL this week with musical guest Bad Bunny.” She adds, “I have a feeling this is going to be the best show of the year… bigger than the 50th anniversary special… longer than the 50th special.” Thompson quickly replies, “Well, no, because that was like nine hours.”
Johansson continues, “More celebrities in the audience than the 50th special.” Bad Bunny, speaking for the first time, jokes, “Now you’re just being unrealistic!” Thompson supports the joke by saying, “What Bad Bunny said.”
In the second teaser, the three discuss their summer plans. Johansson says, “I’m just gonna, like, travel a little, work a little.” Bad Bunny hints at some mysterious activities, saying, “I guess just doing awesome stuff.” Johansson asks, “Oh, yeah. Like, what?” He replies, “Just awesome stuff. Don’t worry about it. My life is awesome, especially in summer.”
Bad Bunny also mentions he will be “eating breakfast for dinner” over the next few months. Thompson reacts, “Damn, that is cool.”
Beyond his eating habits, Bad Bunny is preparing for a major residency in Puerto Rico. Starting July 11, he will perform 30 shows at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. This residency will be followed by a world tour in the fall to promote his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
Saturday’s episode will close SNL’s 50th season. This season featured guests like Lady Gaga, Timothée Chalamet, Morgan Wallen, Charli XCX, Coldplay, Chappell Roan, and Stevie Nicks.
