Rihanna, who recently announced she’s expecting her third child, may already be considering baby number four with her partner A$AP Rocky.
At the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, Grammy-winning singer Ciara, who has a close relationship with Rihanna, shared a lighthearted conversation with Sherri Shepherd. Ciara revealed that the couple joked about having a fourth baby.
“This is her third baby she’s having now,” Ciara, a mother of four herself, said during the May 6 episode. “We started talking about baby number four, but she has to get through this one first.”
The two stars shared a candid moment at the event, where Ciara was seen gently touching Rihanna’s baby bump. Rihanna confirmed her pregnancy hours before the Met Gala and showcased her bump in a custom Marc Jacobs outfit. She and A$AP Rocky, already parents to sons RZA and Riot, were greeted with congratulations from fans and friends.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Rocky expressed his excitement, saying, “It feels amazing. It’s time to show people what we’ve been working on… We’re definitely happy.”
Rihanna shared similar feelings during a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying, “I’m good. I’m surprisingly feeling OK and not too overwhelmed… I’m tired, but I’m excited.”
